MAVO – Medical Assistant & Vehicle Operator Program (Medical Transportation Services)

Description

The MAVO program (Medical Assistant & Vehicle Operator) prepares students to work in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. Students will be trained in basic patient care, safety protocols, HIPAA compliance, proper documentation, defensive driving, and vehicle sanitation. This hybrid role combines transportation excellence with entry-level healthcare awareness — ideal for individuals who want to safely and respectfully transport patients to medical appointments, rehabilitation sessions, and wellness centers.
