Program Pathway

What Students Will Experience

Day 1

Build the Foundation

Students learn healthcare vocabulary, anatomy and blood basics, PPE expectations, and professionalism.

  • Introduction to phlebotomy
  • Anatomy and blood basics

  • PPE and safety practices
Day 2

Practice Like a Phlebotomist

Students apply learning through no-needle simulation activities, patient role-play, and order-of-draw games.

  • Blood collection setup and simulated draws
  • Tube color coding and order of draw
  • Communication through patient role-play
  • Certificate of completion

This program is educational only. Students do not perform clinical services, diagnostics, treatment, or real blood draws. Parent/guardian consent is required, and students must follow all safety and behavior instructions during the program.
